Challenges facing commuter towns

Loads of things - less commuting, more jobs.... lots of challenges to be overcome I reckon. It's comforting to know that the great and good of the oireactas will get around to looking at it after their summer break. I can see them cracking the problem by xmas.

Why not offer tax incentives for companies who allow their staff tele-work? I know not everybody can do it but if more people did, it might ease some of the burden on transport etc for those who can't.

I always thought there was a market for managed office facilities in these towns for people tele-working so at least you would get some human interaction and it could help get around many of the broadband issues. I honestly think it would help convert many of these towns into communities instead of workers camps. Just my 2 cent!!
