Certified sick on jobseekers Benefit

I am on jobseekers Benefit and have 2 months left. My doctor has certified me sick and I'm unable to work. What do i do next?

You should apply for illness benefit and sign off from your jobseekers claim.

Is the illness Benefit means tested and if I recover quickly do I automatically continue my jobseekers Benefit

Illness benefit is based on PRSI contributions, like Jobseeker's Benefit, so is not means-tested. The details are in the webpage I linked to above.
If your GP certifies you as fit for work, contact your DSP Intreo office to resume your Jobseekers claim - don't assume it'll restart automatically.
