Cast iron insert

Our cast iron fireplace insert got a little damaged over the weekend when some of the "enamel/paint" came off. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any way or product for repairing this damage.

You can get 'enamel' paint in any DIY store...I know that Woodies also stock a 'heat resistant' paint if you were concerned about the proximity to the fire..ie. prevents blistering etc. It comes in a range of colours. I've used the enamel paint with no issues.
