I have accumulated a small number of shares over the years, very small:
e.g. 73 prudential shares, 23 Canada life shares. I have no idea how to find their value and how I could physically cash them in. Can you give me some advice on how to proceed?

to see, you need a willing buyer.

in theory, you can find a buyer, complete the forms, return to registrar and pay stamp duty.

However, the simplest method, is to sell through a stockbroker. Check for minimum fees however.

There are threads re brokers on this site.

As to values, why not go to the website of the company, click on the link for investor information and it should be there.
