Cash In Pension

Hi guys,
I have an arklife pension which is in place over 15 years and it has accumulated a small fortune, however I am also involved in a works pension scheme, I contacted arklife to see if i can cash their pension in and they said it was not possible, is there a way that I can convert this pension onto my works pension and withdraw from that.

What is a "works pension"? An occupational pension scheme? I'm not sure if you can transfer a personal (?) pension fund to an occupational pension scheme but I think that you cannot.

Even if the existing Ark Life pension fund is of a type that you can transfer into your current employer's Occupational Pension Scheme, you can only withdraw funds from an Occupational Pension Scheme when you retire. The earliest age you can retire is age 50.
