Carpets from Northern Ireland - Fitted in Dublin

Hi there,

I've heard that there is a guy that comes down to Dublin a couple of times a month and installs Ulster Carpets into homes in Dublin at a very good price.

Has anyone heard of this service? I've scoured aam but havent come up with anything yet.

We just got all our carpets from TC Matthews carpets in Dunleer, think they are based around the place but sure they will travel. Free underlay and fitting, couldn't go wrong and we priced around a good bit plus great selection, 3 times the price for one carpet in arnotts etc.

I couldn' get a proper breakdown of prices from TC Matthews this week. Just a price overall for carpet, underlay, fitting presented to me. Some carpets were priced in the shop, most were not. No advice on quality of underlay. No information on amount of wastage that would result. Completly different quality of service and price from Layfette 77 in Dunlaoghaire, formerly Myles Walsh Carpets. They have a 20% sale on at the moment, ending soon.
