I just recently bought a car with a motorola car kit installed, I would like to take advantage of this but I use a nokia phone myself. Is it just a matter of getting rid of the motorola adaptor head and fixing on a nokia adaptor head in its place??

Deffinitely not. The elecronics in these kits is specific to the brand, and often a sub-set of models. i.e., a Nokia kit will not work with all Nokia models.

I would guess that stuff like the speaker mic and mount for the cradel are standard enough. So the hard work of running cables is mopstly done.

Fitting the car kits are easy enough if you have any notion of electrics.

You are usually looking at power ground and a mute for the radio.

Worth a look.
