hello all, I read that the carers allowance for minding an autistic child, disregards first 290 weekly of a single separated parent's income,would that income include child benefit for 3 children., =121 and domiciliary carer's benefit of 60 euros, to try and calculate what 15 hours part time work I could do every weekWhat is this €121 figure? CB is €150 p.m. for the first two and €185 for the third child. Annually that would be (2 children x €150 x 12 months) + (€185 x 12 months) = €5,820 p.a. or €112 p.w.
I don't know if CB and the other benefits are counted when assessing for the carer's allowance I'm afraid. I presume that SW can tell you.
