I bought a new (old) car on Saturday and it's perfect except for the stereo. It's a tape/radio at the front with a cd changer in the boot.
The problem is that the volume likes to turn itself down completely when I touch of the down button or go over a bump in the road. It's really starting to get to me. This also affects the bass, treble, balance etc.
The car has a 12 month warranty, is the stereo likely to be covered?
Alternatively, does anyone know where I could get just a replacement front section, i.e. the bit the clips off for security, as this is where the fault is. The stereo is Clarion.
