I've just purchased a new(er) car and am still in process of selling my old car.
When I took ownership of the new car i contacted my insurer Hibernian, and arranged a change of permanent insurance to new car, and 'temporary addition of a vehicle' for my old car.
I needed to extend my temp addition, as car hasn't sold yet so rang Hibernian today. i was told that it wasn't possible to add my old car on for another week, and I would need to change from new car to old to be covered. The guy on the other end of the phone was adament, and actually quiet rude pointing out that it was an either/or situation.
I hung up, rang back 2 min later and am now insured for both vehicles, for the coming week!
I'm angry that I'm prepared to pay for additional cover but was made to feel 2 inches high, yet 2 min later a really nice lady was able to provide me with the cover!
The moral of the story, if at first you don't succeed.....
