Motor car flooded insurance up to date but no nct

i have a car that has insurance but is is off the road with no tax or nct . it was flooded . now the car is a write off , is the insurance still valid becouse it has no nct or tax ?

you mean the car got covered in water or the engined flooded?

YOu shouldn't have a problem with cover, but the lack of an NCT may mean the offer the company will make may be reduced.
