Capital Expense or Not

Last year I purchased a ride on lawnmower soley for the use of a rental property with a very big garden. When accounting for this expenditure in my tax return, should it be treated as a capital expense or would it be written off at 15% for 6 years + 10% for the 7th year, in the same way as a fixture and fitting?

I'd write it off over the 7 years in the same way as fixtures and fittings.
 
Deductible capital expense in the same way as F & F , but it's actually 12.5% per annum for 8 years (since 2002!)
