Can't find my iTunes library...

:eek: Ok, this may seem (and probably is) VERY apparent but here goes. Just charging my ipod and have a few new cd's to upload and realised I can't find the shortcut on my desktop for my itunes library...

I have done a search, gone through 'all Programmes' and there is no sign of any itunes on my PC. I'm not the most techy, so I wouldnt be suprised if its something relatively simple but I am beginning to fret a little!

Plus, I was informed that my library and ipod would be on this PC only and as such I would be unable to upload other songs to my ipod from any other computer. Help appreciated!
 
How often have you listened to them? iTunes tracks delete themselves after you've played them a certain number of times.

They should be in the 'iTunes' subfolder inside your 'My Music' folder.]
 
havent listened to them at all (this is a work PC.. ooer!) Its not a networked office, one PC so there's no chance of it being deleted. I use it for uploading my CD's onto my ipod and the internet. Im really baffled! I'm tempted to download itunes again onto the PC but I'm unsure if my ipod will synch its songs from itself back into a new library...

That doesn't seem right. AFAIK in my years using it, any iTunes on-line account can have up to 5 (?) computers registered with it in order to purchase / download / update iPods / share / music, movie, or other audio video files.

If you dispose of a computer, de-register it from iTunes and your account will be credited with a spare registration to use.

Any chance the whole kit and caboodle was archived or purged by someone trying to free up a bit of drive space?
 
Located music files but couldn't open. Downloaded itunes again and hey presto... everything transposed over and I'm up and running.. phew.. happy bunny... Ta to all.
