Can you transfer a JB claim?

Hi,

I've been living in Dublin and since redundancy I've been in receipt of JB. I'm moving county and I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer a claim? If not, I'll have to wait another 8 weeks, which I could do without to be honest.

I've been trying to ring the SW office but nobody answers/it's engaged.

Has anyone ever done this?

Yep, all you do is call in the 'new' local office and register a claim, telling them that youm wish to trasnsfer your original claim to them. They'll do the rest.
