Can you ignore "request" in a will.

A will contains the following paragraph. “I request that the firm of ____ Solicitors be retained as Solicitors to administer my estate.” This was not put in at the request of the person making the will but simply by the Solicitors who had drawn up the will for free! Does that request have to be complied with, or can it be disregarded, assuming there are no objections from any beneficiaries to either appointing another solicitor to take out probate, or to the executor taking out probate themselves?
