can rental income be invested in pension?

Hi,
I am now working abroad, and my only source of income in ireland is rental income, (approx 10,000 Euro per year). Does anyone know if this income qualifies to be invested in my Irish pension, therefore getting the tax credit allowed on "salaried" income?

Hi Mantis sorry to be bearer of disappointing news, but rental income (same for investment income) is not pensionable, so you could not use pension fund to shelter your rental income.
