Can I "reactivate" my MIR if I move back into my NPPR?

I bought my house in August 2003 and lived in it until December 2005. Thereafter I let the house and notified Revenue in order to cease my Mortgage Interest Relief. If I now intend to move back into the house, thereby making it my Primary Principal Residence again, can I begin to claim Mortgage Interest Relief again?

I understand that the original term of the MIR was for 7 years, however wasn't it extended for people who had purchased from 2003 onwards?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
