Looking for some advice.
We are selling a property in dublin that has a tracker motgage with AIB. We bouhht this in 2006, lived in it for 2 years and have rented it since 2008.
In 2010, we built a house (principle private residence), financed with AIB. This has a variable rate motgage.

Would we be entitled to transfer the tracker to this mortgage?
Has anyone done this successfully.

Thanks again.

No, you are not "entitled" to anything.

In 2014(?), AIB introduced a tracker mover product. But the customer has no contractual right to claim this.

It does not include moving your tracker to an investment property.

Having said all that, there is no harm in asking, although I expect you will be refused. You could threaten to switch the mortgage on your new home, but even still, I doubt that they would allow you to do so.
