Can I lodge a bank draft in sole name to joint account?

I have a ptsb bank draft made out in my sole name (€50) but only have a joint current account with my wife (BoI). Two questions:

1) Can the bank draft be lodged to our joint account? Does my wife have to sign anything?

2) BoI branches during working hours aren't convenient to either of us. Can I send the draft to our branch in the post with written instructions to lodge it?

Absolutely on (1) , (2) I'd ring them first, your branch that is, but I thought most BOI ATMs take lodgements?

If posting write account details on the back.

Its like 1989 again.

Just lodge it at an ATM.

It’s just like lodging a cheque.

There’s no issue with a draft made out to you going into a joint account.

I did it recently.
