Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to insure your children on their own with a health care provider without having an adult on the policy?

Snipersham,

The short answer is no, you can't insure children on their own without having an adult on the policy. However, the adult does not
have to be their parent - for example it could be a grandparent, friend, relative - an adult who is prepared to include the children on
their policy. It can be a different plan to the adult with the same provider.

VHI will insure kids on a plan and include an adult as a non paying policy holder, so basically the adult holds the plan but only the child is covered

Can you get health insurance for kids without an adult as part of the policy?
Anywhere I've tried you have to select one adult.
I thought from a legal point of view they're obliged to at least quote you.
