I currently have a pension with a company i worked for most of my life. Im currently retired and wanted to draw my pension from this company but was told last week that they now have changed the age to when you can draw on your pension. Im now 58 and they say now i cant draw until 65.
Ive heard one of the reason they are saying this is becasue the company is in trouble.
Can they do this?

It depends on the rules of the scheme. If the rules say that early retirement is only permitted with employer or trustee concent, then they can. A lot of defined benefit schemes are not permitting early retirement at the moment due to solvency issues.
