How does one calculate percentage profit. I am having a complete brain freeze.
The Sole Trader is an architect. So for example expenditure is €1200 and the income was €5000. So the profit is €3800. So to calculate % profit, is it €3800 / €5000 x 100???
Ideally to get a meaningful figure, say to compare with larger companies in the same business, you would need to include in the expenditure figure a realistic salary for the sole trader.
