Calculating net income from a 4 day week

I'm sure this is just basic maths, but I honestly can't get my head around tax credits, especially when assessed as a married couple.

I'm thinking of asking for a 4 day week in my workplace when I return from maternity leave, but before I ask, I need to know what kind of impact this will have on our salary.

Our current situation:

My salary - 58k
Husband - 60k

He receives my tax credits, so his take home pay is just under €4k and mine is €2,800. (I should note that I top up my company VHI plan and have an AVC of €75, which accounts for some deduction from my salary)

What will the effects on our net income be from me working reduced hours?

Very roughly:

You will lose 20% of your Gross Income = €11,600

However of this €11,600 you would be coming out with roughly 49% of this after deducting PAYE (41%), PRSI (8%), & Inc Levy (2%) which means your take-home pay from this €11,600 is about €5,684 or €473.67 per month

So if you go to a 4-day week then you will end up approx €475 a month worse-off
