No agreement there.
I know. I admire the way you don't let the facts get in the way when forming an opinion.
No it doesn't, it needs to keep its nose out of other countries politics.
Okay, so we should say nothing about what Israel is doing in Gaza. Got it.

All countries but most especially small ones should hold national sovereignty as the supreme guiding principle of International relations.
That would give cart blanche to any large country to attack any smaller weaker country since nobody should interfere.

What you have there is a recipe in which big countries get to meddle in the affairs of smaller ones, up to and including invasion.
What's what you are suggesting.

It's what the US and Israel have been using as cover to destroy country after country in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa, most recently in Iran.
Cuba is next up, reportedly.
But since "All countries but most especially small ones should hold national sovereignty as the supreme guiding principle of International relations" we should stay out of it, right?

You are proposing an model of international relations devoid of morality or any duty or obligation to protect the weak or uphold human rights; where whether a people or nation are the victims of genocide, oppression and subjugation are entirely dependent on whether they are strong enough to resist it. In your scenario every country must then have as strong an army as possible as only might is right. It sounds very like Trump and Putin's view of the world.

No agreement there either.

No because Gaza doesn't belong to Israel, nor does The West Bank. Nor incidentally does the US in which Israel interferes at a very fundamental level through bribery and blackmail(see Epstein). Ditto pretty much every major country in The West. Ireland less so because zionists like Alan Shatter are an exceptionally tiny minority in this country.
No country violates National sovereignty more than Israel which is why the international community needs to put manners on it.

But you said that the EU "needs to keep its nose out of other countries politics.". That means that the EU, and by extension Ireland, should keep its nose out of Israel's politics. The political position of the current government of Israel is that Gaza and the West Bank are part of Israel. No because Gaza doesn't belong to Israel, nor does The West Bank.

No because Gaza doesn't belong to Israel, nor does The West Bank.
Does Ukraine belong to Russia?

No country violates National sovereignty more than Israel which is why the international community needs to put manners on it.
Okay, should manners be put on Russia for violating the National Sovereignty of Ukraine?

Which is it? Should "All countries but most especially small ones should hold national sovereignty as the supreme guiding principle of International relations" or "should the international community [ ] put manners on" countries which violate National sovereignty?

I won't respond to the paranoid and offensive antisemitism and antisemitic tropes.

Does Ukraine belong to Russia?
Russia would not have been in conflict with Ukraine if America had not been trying to bring Ukraine into its anti-Russian Alliance.

If a country violates National Sovereignty it's up other countries to force it back into line. How else is that to happen.
It doesn't have to be war, it can be BDS like it should be the case for Israel.

Since it was made clear to Russia in the 90s that (a) there was to be no Europe wide cooperation on Defence and (b) that it wasn't welcome in the Nato club, all that Russia has desired since is a buffer between it and the alliance defined by their enmity to Russia.
A line of neutral countries separating it from Nato (including guess who, Ukraine). That worked very well for Finland from 1945 until 2023 when politicians probably received envelopes.

I won't respond to the paranoid and offensive antisemitism and antisemitic tropes.
You probably subscribe to the IHRA definition and its associated examples too. Israel is special after all.

Nonsense.

You keep contradicting yourself.

It doesn't have to be war, it can be BDS like it should be the case for Israel.
Sometimes it does.

Since it was made clear to Russia in the 90s that (a) there was to be no Europe wide cooperation on Defence and (b) that it wasn't welcome in the Nato club, all that Russia has desired since is a buffer between it and the alliance defined by their enmity to Russia.
Should the countries in that buffer have a say? You are sounding more and more like a supporter the Trump foreign policy.

A line of neutral countries separating it from Nato (including guess who, Ukraine).
Again, do those countries have a say? Should the people of those countries be allowed to determine their own future?

That worked very well for Finland from 1945 until 2023 when politicians probably received envelopes.
Are "people saying" that they received envelopes?
