Hi,
I am buying a house off the plans, with staged payments. On signing contracts we will probably be handing over 1/3 of the total sum (including site cost). However we are not being told any details of the size of the garden we will get. We have the site plan but we dont really want to be guessing off a drawing which has "Do Not Scale" written on it! Is it normal practice not to be given somewhat exact detail of gardens (wouldnt mind if they said it could be plus/minus three feet difference in reality). Would an engineer be able to survey the site?
Regards
