Most of the time I have no problems with Vista, but theres nothing I need in Vista I can't do in XP and usually things are simplier and thus easier in XP. I have one machine with Vista and another with XP.
If you have a problem with lockups, and crashes thats not typical of Vista, which is very stable. Ye must have a hardware or software problem that needs fixing.
