Buying in Donabate

My partner and I are currently thinking of buying a house in Donabate. The area looks nice, close to town and seems to tick all the boxes. I would appreciate some feedback from people who live there though. I had a snoop at some older threads and hoping for recent opinions :)
Also there doesn't seem to be a bus route to/from the city centre?

Donabate is close to town for us for commuting to work on the train, the travel time is great. Bit worrying about the bus though, I was looking on dublinbus site and thought maybe I jut wasn't seeing the bus route on it.

Is the area nice in general?
 
Donabate is great. I used to commute to town and was in in 20 mins. There IS a bus that goes straight through to town in the morning and evening. I have friends in Portrane who get it, i'l ask them what it is.

I love the area- great facilities like new bridge park, beaches, cliffs, stables. Brand new secondary school. Choice of brand new educate together building, or the lovely st pats. Great GAA and other sports.
