Hi folks,
We went sale agreed on a house in Galway 9 weeks ago and paid 6k deposit. it's 6 years old and currently shared ownership (we assume) with Galway Corporation. Our solicitor only recieved contracts from the vendors last Thurs. He searched the docs today to find that vendor’s application for registration was never lodged in the land registry and no maps of the property are available. Therefore the title is not at all complete. Now looking at 6 weeks more. Worried that the muppet vendors will pull out if thier new house falls through.
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this.
