Hi,
If you buy a house from a relative (e.g. brother/sister), you pay half the stamp duty. Just wondering how do you prove that you are related - what forms etc need to be filled out? Many thanks....

You don't need to fill out anything- your solicitor will put in an appropriate Finance Act certificate into the deed of transfer and when stamping will send it to the Adjudication Office of the Revenue- its basically a self-certification.
