Buy soon or keep waiting

Hi All,

I asked this question on here over 12 months ago but things are always changing.

I have (fortunately) recently received mortgage approval from BOI for 280k with me having to front 20%.

I am currently working abroad but looking to buy in Cork, I have a permanent well paying job (45k after tax).

Should I keep saving or if I find something I really like should I buy. I've recently seen a 4 bed detached house that's exactly what I want but it's still out of my price range.
