I have an Packard Bell PC with XP Media Edition. I recorded a VHS Video to the hard drive using the Record TV function. It has saved this as a .dvr-ms file (I think). The problem is that when I try to burn this to a DVD to play in a regular DVD player, it only allows to record a data DVD, there is no option to record a Video DVD.
Has anyone succeded in installing the plug-in on a Packard Bell machine to get this option working? The machine came with Media edition pre-loaded and didn't include the Media Centre installation disks. I found a copy of the plug-in(sonic-something.msi) on the HP website but installing this didn't work.
