You could do some herbs as well dewdrop. Parsley, thyme, coriander, sages. Oregano come in a lovely yellow, and form a mat. You could also do some leaf lettuce and spring onions in the bigger pots. All are relatively attractive plants as well. For bulbs you might try the stunning Amaryllis, very exotic looking, but keep slugs away. Some saxifrages for summer blooms. Daff's and Narcissus are lovely for early spring, dwarf tulips, endless varieties, lavenders, rosemary as a herb and a flower. You might also sow some Lollo Rossa lettuce, deep red and delicious. and maybe some dill. None of these would be hard work.
