Building on site of inherited house. Regarded as first time buyer?

I inherited an old detached farmhouse from my parents in 2011. The house is in rather poor condition and would require a lot of work to renovate and it would probably be cheaper to demolish and rebuild on its footprint. If my spouse and I go the demolish and rebuild route, would we be regarded as first time buyers for mortgage purposes. Neither of us has had a mortgage previously.
