Dear colleagues,
Our neighbour issued us with the 1996 act, a notice of proposed works. They are building a 4m single storey rear extension to the existing house within 3 metres of our building and to a lower level than the bottom of our foundation. We have been asked to sign a letter saying we are happy for them to carry on with the work.
The question is what impact does the above have on our property? This extension is parallel to our garden and not the main building. Your views would be appreciated.
