Budget family holiday abroad in August

I'm looking for a budget family holiday anywhere abroad for 2 weeks in August near a beach. Budget is tight but don't want to wait for a last minute deal!

Suggestions and experience please.

One of my old favourites - try Budget Travel to Rhodes.

Some very reasonable accomodation there, pretty much guaranteed sun, and plenty to do.
