Daughter 20 yrs , qualifies for the 'back to education allowance ' and also wants to apply for the VEC grant.

Does anyone know , are there any circumstances , that would be taken into account , to help qualification for this grant , like :
mortgage , loans , expenses , other household bills etc ?

Have you tried calling your local VEC and asking for help?

I am not looking for VEC help , - I am looking for 'askaboutmoney ' help.

If I want VEC help , I will ring VEC .

www.askaboutmoney.com is a website , where people come together and give differing views on a situation .

''The primary function of Askaboutmoney is to provide answers to practical questions. ''
Therefore , please refrain from giving impractical answers .

In my opinion , the best advantage of AAM , is that you may be lucky and meet someone , who has been in a similar situation , in the past , and is therefore , qualified to give an honest opinion from their experience .

Fair enough, but just in case you don't meet someone "who has been in a similar situation , in the past , and is therefore , qualified to give an honest opinion from their experience" then maybe you could try calling your local VEC.
