I signed up for BT back when they had to put in a physical device called I think a switch box(or dialer box).I now have signed up with them for broadband as well. I have a problem in that when the switch box is plugged in I cannot make outgoing calls.When the box is plugged out I have no broadband.I have contacted BT but they say they have no responsibility for the box.I checked with the installer and he was employed by Esat Clear.They have advsied me to employ an electrican to remove the box to try to resolve the problem.Could anybody advise if BT are under an obligation to remove this box?
