BT i-Plate

Hello,

Came across this article in the Sunday Times about a device called an i-Plate from BT which claims to improve broadband speeds by cutting down on electrical interference.

Would this device be of any use in Ireland?

To quote from the link you provided - "NOTE: Only works with BT NTE5 master sockets, which have a horizontal line across them (to split in half) and a BT logo in the top right."

So no, this device is not of any use in Ireland

I was wondering if it were possible to replace your existing socket with the BT socket, would there be some hope then?
