I was bringing a case for unfair dismissal against my previous employer, however, seems he is now gone bust, the Sherriff (rev. comm?) closed the place. Is my case now closed, have I any comeback now.

That would all depend on the reasons for the closure, it would be difficult but not impossible

this happened to me. case went ahead ,got free run as no company rep turned up.tribunal awarded damages to me and dept of employment paid up.no hassle at all. got check in two weeks. pm me if your need any details

Only you can close your case, and outcome will be decided by the tribunal members.
