Brilliant game at Lansdowne Rd today. (Am I still allowed to use that name?)

we beat Scotland at rugby.....again> hooraaahh!
But they'll get a chance for revenge next year when we play them....again...thats if we don't play them in a 'friendly' in the meantime!

Brilliant ? Hardly  ! Game was over as a contest by half time, unlike the one in Paris yesterday.

And everyone should refer to the stadium as Lansdowne Road. It's not as if AVIVA built it and then gifted it to the IRFU/FAI. They paid €30m over 10 years, which the stadium company subsequently sold for €24 cash, to have their name associated with the stadium. In 8 years time, some may end up being obliged to call it the RYANAIR stadium with blue and yellow seats, but it'll always be Lansdowne Road.

Don't worry BillK, it was great to watch, and enjoy some positivity for a change. There were some great performances, and we also got to see a Scottish giant do a shimmy for try!

I agree!! unfortunately It is a corporate world..see also the emirate stadium, reebok stadium, 02 Arena etc.. how long before Croke park becomes the Hunky Dory Stadium or Coca Cola Park....
