Fairly certain the only way to withdraw online is indeed to a BOI Current Account.
I did this recently and it took 2-3 days.

Not sure if it helps your situation - but if u have a BOI demand account linked to your 365 profile you might be able to withdraw to that BOI a/c and from there do a credit transfer to your PTSB a/c. Under the Supersaver a/c click on 'withdraw funds' and see what options it gives u.I use 365 online but I don't have a BOI Current Account. Anyone know if you can withdraw to a different bank's current account or must it be your own BOI Current Account?
Most likely u will be ok so (unless BOI have tightened their procedures). I used to have as BOI curr a/c and a BOI demand a/c and I had a 365 online profile like u seem to have. I closed my BOI curr a/c but I still retained my 365 profile because of the demand a/c. I started a supersaver a/c and linked this to my 365 profile. I have done several withdrawals from this supersaver a/c to my demand a/c and then did a credit (sepa) transfer to a non BOI a/c. No visits to bank required.Yes that would be good if possible - I have an old BOI demand account.
BOI these days will not give new customers a 365 profile without a current a/c.
What happens if you open a current account, get a 365 profile, open a SuperSaver and then close the current account but kept the SuperSaver open? Do you lose your 365 access?
Some years back I had a current account and two Goalsaver accounts with BOI. When I closed the current account I lost online access to the Goalsaver accounts. From that point onwards, I was reliant on annual statements. I opened a new Current Account at the end of 2001 when UB were in the process of withdrawing and got BOI to link the Goalsaver Accounts to the new online profile.
I would remain optimistic on the withdrawal option appearing once the a/c has funds in it. When the KBC accounts were transferred across to BOI the withdrawal option did not appear for a couple of weeks if I recall. It does not look like for now that I will be able to do a future withdrawal but my balance is zero in fairness.
