Hi!
I was thinking to do a reevaluation on the house, given that the value has gone up a bit.
I am with Boi, year 3 on a 5 year fixed term @3% ( lta <60%), currently overpaying the mortgage by around €90/ month.
The house value is currently aprox 390k and the mortgage is aprox 205k.
I phoned Boi today to ask what the fee would be, but the lady who answered was not able to answer so she just promised a call back. Is there any other ways to bring down the interest, or am i better off waiting for a few more years?
Thank you.

With 52% LTV you can switch to Avant.

It's probably worth paying the break fee anyway. But wait until you hear what it is.

Thanks Brendan,

I seen they also have an option on the website to request offering you a new rate? Is there such thing, are they actually re looking at rates? Is too good to be true...

Don't know about that

But it's possible as they might not you to break out and switch to another lender, so they might offer you a deal to stay.

I just got a call back, breaking fee would be just over 4k.
Rates reviews are an option for variable rates customers I am being told...
