Bank of ireland are a disgrase, double posting customers on their laser cards.

I can understand a mistake happening, however for it to happen a second time over the course of a couple of months is unforgivable.
 
i had 2 laser card transactions today, one for 9.98 and the other for 50.

both transactions have been carried out 3 times on my a/c !!
 
Same here charged twice for a laser transaction, but just noticed that the
transaction was last Saturday. Also this evening paid my credit card bill
online and again amount debited twice!

Would it perhaps be shadow banking which occurs sometimes for a few hours at night. I'm not sure but I think its something to do with online processing.

I've noticed this several times on my 365 account but it is always rectified later.
 
It was in the news this morning. All double payments will be reversed. If anyone was party to any other charges (over limit etc) they will also be reversed.
 
Believe it or not, I have laser transactions from over the weekend which were showing on my account yesterday but have now vanished.

My balance is over €500 too high.

I presume this is related to the double transaction problems they are having.
