Bank of Ireland raises rate on savings account in move seen as response to neobanks
Bank of Ireland is hiking one of its savings rates in a move that is seen as a response to the increasing competitive pressure from neobanks.
1 year term deposit rate from BoI has increased to 2.14% AER.
BoI move is In-line with the recent market trend for term deposit rates increasing. Klarna, multiple Raisin.ie term rates, and Easisave and other rates have increased in recent weeks too.
The BoI 1 year rate is still well below the Klarna and Easisave 1 year rate at 2.65% AER.
