BoI cashback extended to 30th Sept

Cashback is now officially extended to 30th September.

I was speaking with someone who recently received a mortgage offer, and the cashback was added as a special condition, without a date so the cashback was valid as long as the offer.

Yes i have an offer from them and the cash back is included. I am now ready to draw down from PTSB next week and as soon as i receive the 2% cash back , i am switching to BOI.

Huh. Never thought of that. Will that work as a way to circumvent their rule that you have to be with previous lender for at least 12 months?

Don't you have to be with your current lender at least 12 months before BOI will accept you as a switcher? Have I got that correct?

Yeah I was told that by them on the phone last month and it's been said on here before.

Not sure how it works if you apply to 2 banks at the same time though.
