BMI luggage allowance

We're flying back from London with BMI next week and I have a feeling (but can't find anything on the booking info) that they have no checked luggage restrictions other than the usual 15kg or 20kg limit. In other words they don't charge for checked luggage and you don't have to pre-book it, is this correct ? Can anyone confirm please ?

We are flying from B'ham to Geneva with BMIbaby on Thursday; there is definitely a charge for checked luggage and you do have to book it. The extra charges for the luggage and airport checkin is more than the base cost of the flight.

It may of course be different if BMI is seperate from BMIbaby, but I would advise you to check before you travel.

I am flying to London with BMI next weekend and got a fright when I saw this post as presumed we had luggage. I believe we do, if you check out the following link:

Yep - it was free baggage. We came back on Sunday evening and checked in the 3 bags we had brought as carry-on on Friday. We didn't have to pre-book or pay for anything or do anything other than turn up.

Yep BMI is free for checked luggage. BMI Baby you have to pay though.
