I've recently heard that it is possible to look to claim back an overpayment of BIK paid arising from a company paid fuel card.
My car is a personal car and the fuel card is paid for by the company. The usage is treated as all personal so I pay BIK on the full value but I do a bit of business mileage from time to time so is it possible to offset this mileage against the BIK charged?
If so is it a case of using the civil service rates or is there a different method of calculation?
