Bidding strategy advice

2 houses same area, condition price. Happy with either Strategy to buy advice needed, bid on 1 at a time, both together etc?

If they are not by auction are they the same estate agent ? Bid on both would be my advice.

Same selling agent or different? Any idea how many people are interested?

It's a tricky one as you run the risk of getting into a situation where two parties bidding on both only serve the drive up the prices on each other. So definitely avoid being the lead bidder on more than one of them at a time.

Not auction, different agents. I don't want to waste anyone's time or push up prices

I would put in very low bids on both.

This confirms your interest and is not pushing up the price.

But once you bid on a house, you are pushing up the price of it.

Alternatively, you could say to both estate agents.

I am interested in this house and the other one which the other agent has.
I will buy whichever one is cheapest/ accepts my bid of €x first.

What Brendan said 100%. Plus estate agents know their local market and may even talk to each other. I'd also say be very upfront with the agents. If you're a serial viewer and never follow up with a bid, or never explain your situation, they'll pigeon hole you as a tyre kicker and when you do go to make a bid, they'll take you less seriously.
