Best way to lodge cheques

I'm self employed and get paid alot by cheque,if find it awkard to get to the bank to lodge these cheques.
Is there any other way to lodge cheques other than calling to the bank,mostly I use the express lodgement service but I still need to call into the bank.

The best way is to send them by post to your branch manager, and include your details on a post-it. Works for me every time.

If your problem is getting to the bank during normal opening hours just drop them in the letter box at any time.
