just hoping someone can point me in direction of best ps3 deal out at moment. seen one in h norman but felt confused over extras to add on
 
The best price i was quoted was 435 for console plus one game of your choice in Game Stop.

What price were you quoted.
 
You should check HMV, the consensus on boards.ie is that they have the best value...
 
Went around town not so long ago and tried all the usual suspects, best I got was €480 for console, 2 games, extra controller and 2x€5 vouchers in Smyths.

went up to newry yesterday and bought one... 2 games 1 dvd and an extra pad for 425 euro.
 
I have GTA 4 and don't think too much of it, I thought San Andreas was far better in regard to playability. I'm also having difficulty playing it online. I also have COD4 and have had many hours of fun online. PM me your user name if you want a good ass kicking ;)

Same here with GTA4, bought it on a recommendation, and after first weekend, have hardly looked at it. COD4 online is taking all my time these days. PM sent, I'm sure it'll be a nice ego boost for you, I really do enjoy it, but I've a long way to go!

Don't count on the ego boost, having more bad than good sessions lately. Same here on GTA4 haven't spent too much time on it. best game for solo play (sounds bad) IMO is Oblivion game of the year edition. very expansive and open ended play. although Assassin's Creed has great gameplay and graphics I found it a bit repetitive.
